Although it is a serious novel taking itself a bit too seriously, it is in fact beautifully written and engaging I will certainly be looking for Handford’s next. Overall, The Light of Hidden Flowers is interesting and unpredictable. Choices, large and small, are thought-provoking. This easy-to-read memoir is written like fiction, and is hard to put down.
